Grow Your Own

The grow-your-own organic farming movement that originated in the early 20th century, with the rise of modernist sculpture, is one of the inspirations behind the eye-catching green of James Angus’ artwork. The sculpture is the result of the largest art commission ever undertaken in WA.

As Project Director for Forrest Place, Russell Kingdom had a key role in collaborating with the State Government and liaising with the Art Coordinator, Artist and civil contractor to ensure successful integration of Grow Your Own into Forrest Place.
